Hey everybody! I haven't written a journal here in a long time. Well nothing new has been going on. I really do need to get a life though. Heh. Sorry if this is a boring journal but I need to rant so that's what I'll do lol.

Well for starters I'll explain the title of this journal, but it has nothing to do with my life. Yesterday I randomly remembered an anime that I had fallen in love with at the end of last year. I downloaded one episode to give it a try. It kicked ass and so I downloaded the rest of the episodes that were subbed (episodes 2-8). I watched them in about a day and then I waited for a long time for a new episode. After a while the site that had been subbing it said they dropped it. So I decided to look for it some place else.

I didn't look very hard for it and since I didn't find it on normal sites such as youtube and veoh I decided to find it another time. Months and months later I remembered about it, that would be yesterday. I still have the episodes that I had downloaded on my computer and so that probably helped me remember it. I decided to look for it, although I was watching something else at the time but that comes after this.

I found it quickly after a little searching and I watched episode 9-26 between yesterday and today. I just finished a little while ago. I loved the series and it kicked ass but seriously the ending! ARGH! Thus, the title of this journal. By the way the series is called Tales of the Abyss. It's just an anime made from the game, and it's really good.

Okay so I'm about to explain the ending so if you decide that you don't want to read it, or you won't understand anyway so it won't matter, or you're going to eventually watch it or play the game and you don't want to know the ending then you shouldn't read this.

Just when it looked like everything was going to be okay Asch gets stabbed with swords. I was like NOOOOOO. Yet, that didn't stop it from happening. Luke(who is Asch replica) is connected to him so could tell that he was dying, and then Asch's fonons(don't ask me to explain that lol) transferred to Luke because originals and their replicas have a bond and Luke realized that Asch died. Everyone was sad and I was like ARGHHHHHHH. So then everyone goes to kick Van's ass. It takes a little while and a bunch of cool techniques but eventually he dies.

Then I'm like well I miss Asch but at least Luke can be with Tear now(they've shown their relationship grow throughout the whole series and Luke really changed and they really came to love each other). Except oh wait, no he can't be with Tear he has to resurrect Lorelei? At first I'm like oh well fine then do that and then go be with Tear. So everyone says their little see ya laters and walks away. I of course am sitting their thinking oh guys he'll be fine. It isn't until Jade goes over to him and says "I hope you survive." and Luke says "Don't ask for the impossible." that I'm all like wait, what?! HE'S GOING TO DIE TOO?! Oh no you don't.

Seriously after all they've been through, all they've lost, and all they've done for the world I was about ready to resurrect Lorelei myself so he could go live in happiness with Tear and his friends. Then it comes time for Tear to say goodbye and when she turns around she quietly says I love you. I loved that she said that but dude I was hoping for her to run over kiss him and tell him that and then he could say it back so at least there would have been some confirmation. We're not even sure if he heard that.

Then I think to myself: wait just a minute. What if he resurrects Lorelei and then Lorelei is all like you resurrected me and saved the world so now I'm going to bring Asch back and you can all go live in happiness forever. So I'm sitting there going come on Lorelei! Then Asch's body goes to where Luke is(I'm getting really hopeful at this moment, because I though that Asch body had disappeared when his fonons went into Luke but it didn't!) and Lorelei shows up in some glowly form thing. I'm like woot, it's reviving time!

Except not. He tells Luke he's earned his utmost respect, and then just as Asch's hand twitches(showing he wasn't dead yet just unconscious) a giant glowing ray of light shoots into the sky and we see this from far away as we're with Tear and Jade and all the others. I'm waiting there going, come on! Come out of the building and go to them already! Except that never happens.

Then my worst fear comes true. It then says that was two years ago(NOOOOOOOO DAMNIT) and Tears sitting near Luke's grave(T______T). Then everyone comes back to see Tear and to sit around Luke's grave. Something about a coming of age ceremony(I think I have to go back and watch that part because I'm not really sure what they meant but I think that they meant that it would have been Luke's because even though technically he was only about 7 years old due to the whole replication thing he would have been 18 or at least Asch would have been 18). Then Tear sings and the her voice over talks about how the world that Luke saved is beautiful and people are living their lives to the fullest.

Just when it looks like it's over and everyone randomly leaves. You can hear footsteps. Just when I think that some hope is left, everything gets complicated again. It's Luke! And... it's Asch! Or wait it's Lash! Or is it Auke? Or... ARGH. Somehow it seems that Luke and Asch have become the same person. Except it's completely ambiguous. We're not sure if it's Luke and Asch's memories in one body or it's just one person with different attributes.

Luke had light red hair with yellow tips and it was long and he had bangs. Asch had dark red hair and it was also long and his bangs were pushed up. This new Luke/Asch combination has long dark red hair, which would say Asch. Except that he has bangs that aren't pushed down like Luke's. Also his sword is on the left, meaning a lefty. So is it Luke with some of Asch's attributes, or Asch with some of Luke's attributes. Or is it both Luke and Asch's memories and with their attributes mixed? You'd think they'd clear this up except the only things said at the end is Tear who says why are you here?(just a question but why would you ask that? If the man you loved and had thought died seemed to have returned to you why would it matter why he was there, I mean he's there, right? I'd understanding asking later but at the moment, be happy).

Then he says it's because of a promise and Tear cries and everyone runs to him. Well except for Jade who smiles as the wind blows his hair a little bit and Mieu goes over to him and then he walks over with Mieu to where Luke/Asch is. The last thing Luke/Asch said might give it away as to who it is, but it doesn't! Asch made a promise to Natalia to be with her forever and help change the world, and Luke made a promise to come back to Tear. Now I'm pretty sure that it's both Luke and Asch's memories with both of their attributes but that Luke is in control. Or at least it's just Luke, but I don't think it's just Asch.

Not to mention that it took two years for him to get there! TWO YEARS. Why did it take that long? I have no idea. It just did. So we don't get to know who it is, we don't get to see a Luke/Tear and Asch/Natalia reunion(although I really only needed Luke/Tear but it would have been nice to see Asch/Natalia so Asch can get some happiness), we didn't see Luke and Guy have a best friend moment or anyone have a moment, it took TWO YEARS for Luke/Asch to return, and I liked Luke and Asch as separate people. I mean the whole time Luke kept saying that he was separate from Asch and he was who he was and Asch was who Asch was and now they're the same! Also if it's really just Luke then he'll be with Tear. Not that I really care about Natalia but if they had both survived than she could have been with Asch. Or if it's just Asch then he would be with Natalia(I would have screamed if this had happened LukexTear is a must! A MUST <333) and Tear would have no one(T_T). OH THE ANGER AND SADNESS I FEEL RIGHT NOW.

Well then the camera went up and showed just the moon and it faded to the beautiful ending song. Oh the opening and the ending to this series are amazing. They're beautiful, and I love the lyrics.

Now to the other thing. Months ago I decided to start watching One Piece but it wasn't until the beginning of September that I started watching. I've been watching like crazy and I absolutely love the series. I'm on episode 285 and as of now there are 420 episodes. So like I planned to do I should be caught up by the end of October. I've also seen movies 2, 3, and 4. I tried 1 but I didn't really like it. I've decided to watch the rest of the movies once I catch up because it's hard to be watching the series and just randomly go to watch one of the movies. I'm also on chapter 400 of the manga and as of right now there are 559 chapters. There's 9 movies out so far and a 10th movie that will be coming out December 12th but it probably won't be subbed for while. So besides the rest of the series I have to watch movies 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Although I more than halfway there.

So both Tales of the Abyss and One Piece are super awesome kick ass series. Now One Piece may be ten times longer and it was created from a manga and not a game but Tales of the Abyss is still awesome. It's only 26 episodes long but it has a really good story with good characters, and it truly shows how they change. Especially Luke. One Piece is very long and very worth it. It's funny and sad and it can make you feel happy. It has great characters and a fantastic storyline.

Wow, this is longest journal I've ever done. Sorry it's random, but that's the way it is. So how's everyone else doing?
